about 12-14 years

If they have heart murmur?  My double heart murmur puppy lived to be 15!  My normal one lived to be 18.

They usually live for about 14 years, The sheltie I had lived a pretty long life. And one way to make sure they live long is to make sure they keep their exercise up, because the sheltie I had actually gain quite a bit of weight and that caused a multitude of problems

If treated well a Shetland Sheepdog can live to be 15-17 years old.
