Is there an alternative dog food to dissolve bladder stones, other than Hill's s/d? My dog won't eat it.  Is there any other, maybe even dry?

I'm looking for the same thing. Another dog food for bladder stones besides Science Diet c/d. My dog has had surgery twice for bladder stones and I don't want to see them again!! But my dog has quit eating the c/d. I was just reading about the supplement CARPON. Its available at www.belfield.com
Other than this I am still searching for an alternative dog food. Probably will give the CARPON a try.

We had the same problem, she would not eat the SD diet, canned.  Tried to starve her into it, but no.  She did eat the CD dry food and the bladder stone dissolved!  Amazing.

You probably already know this by now, by they do sell Hill's CD diet in dry kibble form, and they also sell prescription doggy bisquits.

By my dog is just like yours -- she hates the CD  !!!    My doc told me that while she's on it I could try to sprinkle a little garlic powder on it, or even a litte yogurt.

If your dog winds up having the stones removed, they can then start on the canned Hill's "SD" diet which is so completely different than the ucky "CD".

I hope your dog is ok!   :o)
