Sometimes yes, it all depends on what illness your dog has. Most canine ailments don't cross species, and vice versus. If your dog is ill, you should take it to the vet immediately, find out what is wrong and then follow the veterinarian's instructions regarding its care and how to make sure you don't catch the same thing.

Most of the times that your dog gets sick, like vomits, it is from something it ate, like a rib bone that didn't agree with its stomach. Most illnesses that dogs get cant be passed to the owner, but there are some. Lime disease, hookworm, and ringworm are some just to name a few.
