CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! I have a 9 week old Yorkie. She sleeps most of the night in her crate beside me. But at about 5:00 in the morning she is ready to PARTY!! She cries and cries till I let her out. I know i shouldn't let her out but she just gets louder and louder! I tell her QUITE! but that never works. Should I move her into the kitten or somewhere else? I do take her out once during the night to go to the bathroom. Shes not scared of the crate just wants to play! CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO! Thanks Sam

Hi Sam,

We had the same problem with ours. She was kept in our bedroom also and would want to play at the same time as yours. What we did was move her to the kitchen and it worked. If you are out of sight your baby will sleep until you get up.

I know it's pathetic but I just couldn't do it! That cute little face. But I'm happy to say she is doing a lot better! She sleeps longer and longer as she gets older.

Thanks for your advice i tried!

Sam,
You did the right thing by not moving her or letting her cry. I am so proud of you. We would not let a baby cry or move he or she to another room out of convience. As you see in time they are more independent. I have a few Yorkies and my bedroom at night is like a zoo. I have dogs on the pillow under the covers on my back under the bed and on the chair..lOl...It all started with them in a crate beside my bed. What is your little girls name. I have Simone, Aiden, Tessa,Ashford,Hilton,Cosette ,Marie& Gavin. I think the fun part is naming. LoL

I had a yorkie who did that Leo. He just outgrew it.. but at 3:30-4:00 it was PARTY TIME for him too. He would BARK LOUD, until I got up.. and then would not go back to sleep. I tried everything. Eventually, he outgrew it it took over a year tho. I was sleep deprived.

maybe u could try and put her on the bed with you and if that don't work you could put her in the bathroom and put her toys in there. thats what we had to do with my Yorkie. now she is the perfect angel!!!!
