Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001]1. Field of the Invention
[0002]The present invention relates to a metal decorative button, especially to a decorative button that is mounted on clothes, shoes and bags for decoration.
[0003]2. Description of the Prior Arts
[0004]In modern times, the living standard and quality are gradually enhanced. People require for clothes not only basic functions such as keeping warm, but also more additional functions such as decoration. Besides the predetermined patterns on the clothes, shoes and bags, people usually like to add other decorations on the clothes, shoes and bags to adapt for the occasions. In the past, people can only use conventional additional decorations such as brooch or the like. However, the brooch is secured on the clothes, shoes or bags by its pin penetrating through the clothes, shoes or bags. The through holes formed by the brooch are unrecoverable and will be left on the clothes, shoes and bags forever to make the appearance worse and decrease the lifespan. Further, the pin of the brooch may accidentally stab into people to hurt people.
[0005]To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a decorative button to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006]The main objective of the present invention is to provide a metal decorative button providing decoration without damaging the object. The metal decorative button has a plastic buttony segment and a metal decorative segment. The decorative segment has a fastening protrusion being connected securely to the buttony segment. The buttony segment is buttoned to a native hole of an object to decorate the object without damaging the object. Therefore, the objects such as clothes, bags, shoes and the like that have native holes such as buttonholes can be decorated by the metal decorative button without being damaged.
[0007]Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0015]With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a decorative button in accordance with the present invention comprises a buttony segment (10) and a decorative segment (20).
[0016]With reference to FIGS. 3 to 5, the buttony segment (10) is made of plastic and comprises a disk (11) and a sleeve (12). The disk (11) has an outer diameter, a mounting surface and a through hole (111). The through hole (111) is formed through the disk (11) and has a diameter. The sleeve (12) is formed on and protrudes out from the mounting surface of the disk (11) and has an outer diameter and an axial hole (121). The outer diameter of the sleeve (12) is smaller than the outer diameter of the disk (11). The axial hole (121) is formed through the sleeve (12), communicates with the through hole (111) of the disk (11) and has a diameter. The diameter of the axial hole (121) of the sleeve (12) is smaller than the diameter of the through hole (111) of the disk (11).
[0017]With further reference to FIG. 6, the decorative segment (20) is made of metal, is connected securely to the buttony segment (10) and has a front surface (21), a contour, a rear surface (22) and a fastening protrusion (221). The front surface (21) has a pattern such as letters, symbols, animals, plants, cartoon characters and the like to provide decorative function. The contour of the decorative segment (20) corresponds to the pattern on the front surface (21) to enhance the decorative function. The fastening protrusion (221) is formed on and protrudes out from the rear surface (22) and is connected securely to the buttony segment (10). The fastening protrusion (221) may be mounted through the axial hole (121) of the sleeve (12) and may be riveted in the through hole (111) of the disk (11).
[0018]With further reference to FIG. 7, the metal decorative button as described is mounted on a shoe (30) with multiple holes (31). The disk (11) is buttoned into the holes (31) of the shoe (30) to decorate the shoe (30). Therefore, the metal decorative button as described decorates the objects by being mounted in native holes of the objects without damaging the objects. The metal decorative button as described may also be mounted in the buttonholes of clothes, bags and the like.
[0019]Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and features of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in the details, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
