Abstract:
The Golf Towel Caddy is a small towel body that is folded down the center
across its width. A horizontal stitching is sewn 8''(inches) from the top
of towel across its width. And, vertical stitches are sewn down from the
top corner to the horizontal stitches; hence a pocket is formed. A
closing device is placed at the top insides of the pocket, which is
designed to securely hold golfer's tees, golf balls and personal items. A
set of grommets are placed through the sides at each top corner of the
towel and bag clips are inserted in the grommets and hung over the top of
golf bags, or attached to carrying strap rings. Therefore, the Golf Towel
Caddy is double hung in a perpendicular manner. The bottom portion can be
used for cleaning golf equipment and/or hands. The entire outside of the
towel provides an excellent area for easy viewing of logos, and other
advertising specialties.Claims:
1. A pocketed towel exclusive for golf comprising:a towel that can fit on
any golf bag;a towel with a formed pocket for storage and easier and
quicker access to what is needed;a towel that helps eliminate looking
through numerous zippers on the golf bag, which can result in faster
playing of the game of golf;a golf towel that is hung from two (2) top
corners so said towel hangs in a more consistent perpendicular position.
2. The pocketed towel exclusive for golf of claim 1, further comprising:a towel hanging by two (2) top corners will better maintain a perpendicular position;the towel will not have a tendency to fold or pleat, which would decrease it's advertising potential;the towel will present a larger and more visible, displaying area for logos and other advertising concepts.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003]This invention is a single piece of fabric that is folded in half and is sewn at desired positions with vertical and horizontal stitches to form a storage pocket. This pocket area is considered the top of the towel caddy, which can be used to hold golfer's personal items, tees, balls or other desired items. The bottom portion of the Golf Towel Caddy can be used for cleaning golf equipment and/or hands. The entire outside of the towel caddy provides an excellent area for easy viewing of logos, or other advertising specialties.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0028]Referring to FIG. 1 is the initial piece of fabric 5 that has an illustrated vertical dotted line, which is folded once down the middle of the fabric 5. Thus, fabric 5 can be made of a soft, washable, absorbent material such as cotton, terry cloth, and polyester of other suitable material.
[0029]Referring to FIG. 2, is an example of the construction of the said Golf towel caddy. The horizontal stitches 6 is sewn across both sides after folding fabric 5 approximately 8'' (inches) from the top of fabric 5 and vertical stitches 7 sewn down from the top of the open edge of the fabric 5 that was created by folding 5 to the point where the horizontal stitches 6 ends. Thus, creating a storage pocket 10, this leaves the top open for placing items within, giving golfer easy access to contents. The storage pocket 10 can be left open or secured by a two-piece closing device 9 such as Velcro. Either way it is very convenient for having quick access to the golfer's personal items, tees, golf balls or other contents.
[0030]Referring to FIGS. 2, 3, and 4 the remainder of said golf towel 11 is used for cleaning and wiping off golf equipment and/or hands. If golfer is carrying golf bag, a golf towel with a two (2) piece closing device 9 at the top of the storage pocket 10 is preferred to prevent contents from falling out.
[0031]Referring to FIGS, 3 and 4, since the towel caddy has two (2) grommets sets 8, (one in each top corner) it can be double hung on the golf bag 15 and 16 ; therefore, its entire width is exposed in a perpendicular manner. Thus, allowing the front of the pocket 10 to be clearly viewed, if advertisers desire logos.
[0032]Referring to FIG. 3, if a golf bag 16 does not have two (2) carrying strap rings 12 on top area 14 of golf bag 16, the towel caddy can still be utilized. Simply leave the hooked end of the bag clip 13 in the grommet 8 facing golf bag 16, and push the other end down inside the top area 14 of the golf bag 16. Do this on both grommets 8 and it will work on any standard golf bag 16, and hang securely perpendicular.
[0033]Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, this towel is designed exclusively for golf to be double hung from a golf bag 15 or 16, with two grommets 8 for hanging perpendicular. Which results in faster and easier access to its contents, such as golf balls, tees, keys or other personal items. Referring to FIG. 2, the Golf Towel Caddy 6 can be hung in two manners. Referring to FIG. 4, the said towel 6 can be hung by the bag clips 13 on the bag 15 through the two (2) carrying strap rings 12. However, referring to FIG. 3, the said towel 6 can easily be hung on any other standard golf bag 16, with the bag clips 13, hanging over the top area of golf bag 14.
[0034]Referring to FIG. 2, the golf towel is made from a, referring to FIG. 1; single piece of fabric 5, approximately 18'' (inches) wide by 28'' (inches) long is most desirable. The said fabric 5, referring to FIGS. 1-2, is folded in half one time, which creates a new width dimension of approximately 9'' (inches). And this size of the said Golf Towel Caddy is wide enough to place the golfer's hand inside, in order to retrieve its contents. The said horizontal stitches 6 and the vertical stitches 7 create the said storage pocket 10.
[0035]Referring to FIG. 2, a grommet set 8 is secured in each top corner of the said towel caddy. And a two (2) piece closing device 9 is secured on the insides of the top storage pocket area 10 to prevent the golfer's items from falling out.
