Episode 1: "The Enemy Walks In"
Original Airdate: September 29, 2002
   "The Man" is revealed to actually be "The Mom," Irina Derevko, Sydney's Russian-
agent mother, who has long been presumed dead. Their first face-off leaves Sydney 
with a gun shot wound, and Irina on the run. Meanwhile, Jack goes to extremes to 
keep Will alive after his SD-6 expos hits the stands; and a CIA mission to smoke 
out one of Khasinau's cronies leads to a gruesome finding about Vaughn.
   Season two premiere.

Episode 2: "Trust Me"
Original Airdate: October 6, 2002
   After surrendering to the CIA, the spy once known as Laura Bristow is now behind 
bars - and refusing to talk to anyone but Sydney. She wants nothing to do with her 
mother, until a mission goes awry and a disk containing vital photos falls into the 
wrong hands. Irina says she wants to help Sydney retrieve it, and during a tense 
visit she explains why: "Defeating Arvin Sloane. SD-6. The Alliance. These are 
things we both want." Sloane runs into a very familiar face while tracking one of 
Irina's associates.

Episode 3: "Cipher"
Original Airdate: October 13, 2002
   Jack takes action to abort Sydney's continued work with Irina, who holds the key 
to cracking Sark's plans for a Russian satellite armed with heavy-duty abilities. 
Meanwhile, Will comes face-to-face with Vaughn, who needs him to revisit his ordeal 
in Taipei; and Sloane gets the suspicion that his late wife may still be alive.

Episode 4: "Dead Drop"
Original Airdate: October 20, 2002
   The past refuses to die. For Sloane, it's the ghost of his late wife that has 
him on edge. Rattled by a rash of eerie events - and the guilt of having poisoned 
Emily himself - the SD-6 head sends Dixon off to investigate. But Sloane may not 
want to know what Dixon learns, particularly about a recent visitor to Emily's 
favorite haunt. Meanwhile, Will's fateful article on SD-6 resurfaces after a 
recovering junkie tempts him with her own conspiracy theory; and Vaughn finally 
meets his father's killer when he is forced to work with Irina to save Sydney from 
Sark's ambush in Russia.

Episode 5: "The Indicator"
Original Airdate: November 3, 2002
   The hunt for a cache of high-tech weapons leads Sydney to a massive secret about 
the Bristows; Vaughn is horrified to realize what Jack is capable of when it comes 
to Irina; and Will steps up to lend Francie a hand at her eatery's grand opening.

Episode 6: "Salvation"
Original Airdate: November 10, 2002
   Jack makes the ultimate sacrifice to win back Sydney, who's torn between 
reporting his recent sins and allowing Irina to pay dearly for her past crimes. 
Vaughn learns an awful truth about the contents of Khasinau's "red ball". Sloane 
digs up a shocker about his wife's burial site. Will scores a top-secret assignment 
that could blow the lid off of Project Christmas.

Episode 7: "The Counteragent"
Original Airdate: November 17, 2002
   Vaughn develops additional signs of infection from exposure to the Red Ball. 
Will finds inconsistencies in the standardized test. Sydney then explains "Project 
Christmas" to Will. Sydney, having learned that Vaughn is sick, travels to a former 
Soviet training base for nuclear submarine personnel in Estonia to get the 
antidote; she gets caught and must sell out Sloane in order to save herself and 
Vaughn. Sloane confesses to Jack that he's insecure about his standing within the 
Alliance.

Episode 8: "Passage, Part 1"
Original Airdate: December 1, 2002
   Jack, Sydney and Irina go under cover as a loving family to seize nuclear 
warheads from an unfriendly nation.

Episode 9: "Passage, Conclusion"
Original Airdate: December 8, 2002
   Sydney and Jack learn where Irina's loyalties lie when she meets up with Gerard 
Cuvee; Sloane informs the Alliance that Emily may still be alive.

Episode 10: "The Abduction"
Original Airdate: December 15, 2002.
   Ariana Kane, the head of counterintelligence for Alliance, meets with Jack in 
her investigation of the disappearance of Emily. Irina makes things worse for her 
ex by telling him an unsettling truth about their KGB-orchestrated marriage. Things 
go horribly wrong for Marshal after his first field mission.

Episode 11: "A Higher Echelon"
Original Airdate: January 5, 2003
   Sydney and Dixon team up to find Marshall before he's beaten into giving his 
captors what they are after. Kane links Jack to a murder, which raises Sloane's 
suspicions and lowers Vaughn's opinion of him. Irina proves her loyalty to the CIA 
by providing the exact info SD-6 is looking for.

Episode 12: "The Getaway"
Original Airdate: January 12, 2003
   Sydney and Vaughn's risky rendezvous, while on a mission in France, threatens to 
expose their CIA covers to SD-6. Jack enlists Irina in his efforts to outwit Kane, 
who is now concentrating on both Bristows suspicious activity.

Episode 13: "Phase One"
Original Airdate: January 26, 2003
   Geiger takes over SD-6 after Sloane goes missing. Geiger, unlike Sloane, has no 
love for the Bristows, and is outright suspicious of them. However, Geiger may have 
bigger fish to fry, after the CIA receives priceless intel on the Alliance. 
Meanwhile, Francie's life takes a startling romantic turn.

Episode 14: "Double Agent"
Original Airdate: February 2, 2003
   Sydney rescues CIA Agent Lennox, who then falls under suspicion after 
investigation into his partner's grim end while searching for a gene-splicing 
machine that allows users to alter their appearance. It's up to Sydney to sort out 
whether Lennox is the real deal or a fake.

Episode 15: "A Free Agent"
Original Airdate: February 9, 2003
   Mathematician Neil Caplan is kidnapped to help Sloane with Rambaldi artifacts. 
As Sydney graduates she must make a decision about her future with the agency. 
Dixon reveals the truth of his occupation to his wife. Sydney and Vaughn race to 
rescue Caplan's family and stop Sloane's latest heist.

Episode 16: "Firebomb"
Original Airdate: February 23, 2003
   Vaughn discovers a bug at Sydney's apartment. Caplan completes the Rambaldi 
device. Sloane offers a partnership to Ahmad Kabir, a Pashtun warlord. Francie 
questions why she and Sydney don't talk anymore. Sloane demonstrates the Rambaldi 
device's power to assure his new partnership. Sydney enters Kabir's compound to 
disable the weapon but things go wrong.

Episode 17: "A Dark Turn"
Original Airdate: March 2, 2003
   Sloane is attempting to obtain another Rambaldi manuscript which may give the 
CIA a chance to capture him, but it requires Irina go on another mission. 
Meanwhile, CIA counter-intelligence has good reason to question Vaughn's loyalties.

Episode 18: "Truth Takes Time"
Original Airdate: March 16, 2003
   Sydney faces off with her mother and gets a chance to return the shooting favor. 
Emily Sloane is faced with the decision whether to side with her husband or betray 
him ... for the last time.

Episode 19: "Endgame"
Original Airdate: March 30, 2003
   A brilliant mathematician is forced into Sloane and Irina's service. For weeks, 
Sydney and the CIA have been searching for the abducted genius with no luck. Their 
big break comes when his wife reveals a shocker that strikes a nerve in Jack and 
sends Sydney to Russia against her father's orders. Back in the States, a grieving 
Sloane deploys the evil Francie to uncover the person responsible for Emily's 
death. Sloane orders a hit and Dixon?s wife is killed.

Episode 20: "Countdown"
Original Airdate: April 27, 2003
   A Rambaldi artifact prophesizes that an apocalyptic event will soon take place. 
Dixon's grief leads Vaughn and the agency psychologist Dr. Barnett to question his 
intentions, as his thirst for revenge on Sloane intensifies. Meanwhile Sloane 
receives a life-changing revelation from a mysterious monk in Nepal. Sydney and 
Dixon hunt for a killer who stole the heart from his victim. Marshall falls for a 
new co-worker.

Episode 21: "Second Double"
Original Airdate: May 4, 2003
   Sydney begins to question Will's identity when he's arrested for espionage, 
under suspicion of being a double. Meanwhile Sark and Irina plot to recover the 
Rambaldi heart, and Sloane makes Jack a business proposal.

Episode 22: "The Telling"
Original Airdate: May 4, 2003
   Sydney finally confronts her mother, who reveals her true motivation. Meanwhile, 
Sloane begins to execute his new grand plan. Will figures out who is behind his 
set-up. Marshall finds love. Sydney disappears?
   Season two finale.
