-63- 1.2 Bug Incompatibility with IRIX 6.1 XFS
Performer 1.2 contains a bug that prevents the use of an IRIX 6.1 XFS filesystem (the replacement for the older EFS) for Performer shared memory and semaphores. There are a number of workarounds: 1) Use an EFS root filesystem 2) set PFTMPDIR to an EFS file system 3) reorder the device types in the kernel configuration files and build a new kernel. This problem is fixed in Performer 2.0.
