-39- 2.0 Warnings from ld when building on IRIX 6.2
When building executables on IRIX 6.2 and linking directly using ld rather than implicitly via CC, an alarming number of warnings about tables that are defined in multiple .so's may be printed. These are harmless but the appropriate compiler option to disable the warning has not yet been identified. The problem does not occur when linking with CC, which is identical in function and serves as an effective workaround.
