  IRIX 5.x supports SVR4-style dynamic shared objects. IRIX 4.0.x does
  not, but Jack Jansen <jack@cwi.nl> has written a package to do it
  anyway. Get ftp://ftp.cwi.nl/pub/dl-1.3.tar.Z.
