-34- Why do unwanted programs (e.g. Netscape) start themselves every time I log in?

  It's a feature of the desktop startup script
  (/var/X11/xdm/Xsession.dt) in IRIX 6.2. To stop it, do 'chkconfig
  firsttimeprograms off'.
