  In 1945 As he vowed, General Douglas MacArthur returned to the Philippines.
  In 1978 Iranian Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi's police fire on unarmed
          demonstrators in Qum seeking a return to the 1906 constitution and
          freedom of speech. The Islamic Revolution begins.
