200 Where are the QWK readers?

not here.  I don't plan on listing any software that mangles headers
as much as QWK does.

some QWK software also can also be instructed to ignore the QWK headers
and use correct headers in the bodies of messages, and product fully
compliant messages.  obviously, this has nothing to do with the QWK
format anymore (since all the QWK information is ignored), and requires
support from the unpacker to also use these body `headers' and ignore the
(useless) QWK headers.

the SlipStream Jet packer tries to compensate for QWK limitations, but
often fails unless you have a very long expiry time and/or you
frequently upload your replies, because it needs the original, unmangled
articles to rebuild the missing headers.

so, look elsewhere for QWK readers.  if you must.
