03.18 How can I avoid reading the HTML version of the message?
Date: 23 Jun 2000 10:19:34 -0700 You might find that you have two versions of the same message within the message. For example, one part might have a content type of text/plain and the other might be text/html. You may find that mhshow (mhn -show) wants to show the HTML version This is a feature of the multipart/alternative content type. If you prefer reading the the plain text version over the HTML version, you'd have to remove the line in $MHLIB/mhn.defaults or ~/.mh_profile that starts with mhshow-show-text/html (mhn-show-text/html). Of course, the tradeoff is that you'd never be able to view text/html at all, but you probably wouldn't care.
