IBM has a major corporate-wide push for *all* of its software products to be "safe" in this regard by the end of 1996. <http://www.software.ibm.com/year2000/paper.html> is the general-purpose [Year 2000] URL for IBM. As far as AIX is concerned, we had to fix three things in AIXv4.1.4 (some logging commands handled date ranges wrong) as PTFs, but other than that, we are there. ...and we handle the leap year issue correcly. also.
