1.4. Who supports these machines? Are there any user groups?
The primary support for the machine is the Usenet newsgroup comp.sys.3b1. There are a lot of dedicated people who enjoy these machines and post a wealth of information to the network. If you are in the Silicon Valley area, contact Thad Floryan (thad@btr.com) for information on how to go to the "AT&T UNIX User's Group" meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Although it's a generic AT&T UNIX group, a large number of the members (including Thad) own UNIX PC's.
