The FAQ maintainers server is NOT a normal listserv or majordomo.
If it does not recoqnise a command, it sends it out on the list!
I am glad I did not try these SLMail V2.6 commands.

I have concluded that this is a very low activity list. At any rate,
I would like a list of who is on the list and how many messages are
sent in a typical week.

PS:
Of all the stuff that went to the list I never received a copy from
the list. Is this normal?
PPS:
The reason I joined the list was to find out who owned
"mail-server@rtfm.mit.edu". I found the owner by other means.
"mail-server" is so slow in responding that I thought it was dead.
Perhaps it was just broken for a while.
