I am trying to find out whatever I can about the history/origins of the
newsgroup alt.support.depression (you know, like who started it when and
why sort of stuff).
I am also interested in trying to find out stats on the group, like number
of posts per month, and number of different posters per month etcetera.
Anyone have any ideas on where to even ask about this sort of thing?? (I
have already asked on alt.support.depression, and have followed up several
leads in that direction. Now I am looking for more info that perhaps a
"usenet administrator" type person could answer. For instance,
alt.support.depression is at least older than 1994, and so it predates
DejaNews archives. But maybe someone else out there has an archive that
would have the control post messages that started the group. That sort of
thing.
