What I've noticed is that most students and Intel workers I talk with
dont even know faqs.org exist. Two coworkers told me they were interested
in finding FAQs on the web (easier then in news or FTP sites for the common
user. Needless to say, they didnt now about *.answers either), but had no
idea where to search.

[As they know about search engines like Yahoo!, I'm still surprised that
certifiably intelligent people would use a search engine to search for
<newsgroup name> and "FAQ"]

Right. But I'm still in love with the impractical idea of Internet Surfing
License - anyone who wishes to use the 'Net must learn how to use it and pass
a test in order to get a Surfer's License, which will be a requirement in
order to get an Internet connection.
