In an ADD command, you have your choice of either an interval (for a
one-part posting, or for part 1 of a multi-part posting) *or* a
parent-archive-name (for a child posting, i.e. parts 2+ of a
multi-part posting). You can't specify both, and you don't need to,
since child postings are posted whenever their parents are and never
otherwise. Since you're sending part 1, you should just say
ADD recnudefaq 30
I might have made an error or been unclear in the recent revisions to
the FAQ server's help file. Could you let me know which parts led you
astray, so I can fix them?
