What is wrong with my "update" request??

to faq-server@rtfm.mit.edu, to update the contents of an already long
ago approved periodic posting. The subject line of the e-mail I sent
said "update <<password>", and the body of the e-mail had the
following:

Summary: This list collects information on books that *I* consider

to have been of some value to me as I recover from my own
