In the several years I have been maintaining the comp.lang.tcl FAQs, I've
only been successful _once_ in convincing a mirror site to upgrade their
copy of my FAQ. Note that there are _hundreds_ of copies, many of which
are ancient. And I see an average I would guess of 12 complaints a year or
more about the FAQ which turn out to be references to the ancient ones.

The biggest gripe I have though is that all of these ancient copies are
on the WWW - which makes it murder to try to do searches for new related
topics, as these hundreds of items are returned as hits and I have to
keep scrolling past them.
