I totally agree that actions need to be taken to stem specific spammers
and I do so every chance I get. Postmasters at the offending site get a
message from me along with the offending spam. I haven't searched out
their ISP unless it was obvious but I might start doing just that.

I too have seen it trailing off. Maybe if we keep up the anti-spamming
education focus it won't be long until all the millions of new net users
will understand spammers are scum. When it stops working, hopefully,
people will stop attempting to use that as a means of advertising. I
know, wishfull thinking...
