I'll have to do a more in-depth analysis of our incoming mail, but as
a qualitative answer, we're still getting plenty of new submissions;
not significantly fewer than when I started as a moderator in March of
1995, anyway.

On a typical day, we get about 90 messages, of which perhaps 70 are
"junk" of one sort or another (make-money-fast or test messages,
random questions, advertisements, etc.). Of the remaining 20, 5 are
internal reports from the various scripts, 8 are administrative
requests, 7 are new submissions, and 5 are miscellaneous other stuff.

Rough estimates only, of course.
