I believe that the sub-minimal digest format supported by OSU is
defined thusly:

A group of lines, containing a Subject: line and optionally
other header lines, and either preceded or followed by a
blank line, starts a section.

The following example (after removing the indent), in this format,
contains a section for every Subject line:

From: me
Subject: section 1
Date: today

body of section 1

- - - - - - - (still part of sec 1)
Subject: section 2
From: you

body of section 2

Subject: section 3
body of section 3

In the diabetes FAQ, I use the following format:

Subject: bg meters
==================

discussion of meters

My feeling was that the underlined subject made a more readable
presentation for someone reading straight through the text. I was
pleased to find that the OSU converter handled my format. I've
considered changing to minimal digest format, since I don't think the
readability difference is great, and digest format would be helpful for
those using digest-sensitive news readers. Does anyone have a good feel
for what portion of the readership is in fact using digest-sensitive
readers?
