Folks,

I just got a request from a reader to add a Last Change date to my
Subject field so that the user can decide early on whether to
download the FAQ or not. I will be checking news.answers for
examples, and will double-check the faq (and server) guidelines to
ensure that this doesn't break anything, but I wanted to ask you
folks how much you get asked to add the date. What problems have
you encountered by doing it? Should the date appear first or last
in the Subject field? Anything else I should consider before making
the change? Will I have to notify the folks at rtfm (rhetorical
question if it is mentioned in the guidelines)?
