Nope, I do it out of the sweet little goodness of my heart !! Actually, I
wrote midwifery FAQs to decrease the repeated questions about what a midwife
was and how to become one. Who would pay me? Atleast with the more "social"
types of newsgroups, I think someone just volunteers to do it. Some include
a list of their own publications, so indirectly they might become paid. <G>.
