Tom Fine and OSU archive was in a sense re-publishing copyrighted
documents, since my FAQ is copyrighted to me, they have a responsibility
to follow the copyright, and not pretend things were up to date when they
were not. If they ignore my copyright, including they are I believe just as
much in the wrong as those CD-ROM manufactors who sells CDs of my
FAQ material without my permission.

If the archive caused your grief, because despite your best efforts, it
was making people call you asking why your FAQ hasn't been updated, then
would you complain? By the sounds of it, I'd guess you would.

The OSU was more like photocopies of an out-of-print book in many cases.
Sigh. We must remember, Tom Fine's motives and ideas were of good intent.
