An interesting exercise for folk is to go to one of the major WWW archiving
sites, like alta-vista, lycos, etc. and do a search for some set of terms
unique to your FAQ. Be sure to find a set from as early in its history
as you can. Then take a look at the ages of your FAQ out on the web.

For instance, CICA's archives have a cpy of my FAQ that's almost 2 yrs
old. When I contacted them, I was curtly told that updating or removing
files from their www was too low on their priority list to mess with.

I suspect at Ohio State the same thing is happening. I see a similar
situation at smartpages.com - which is rather strange since I would
think that keeping their search engines up to date _would_ be their
business.
