I think that needs to be qualified--there *is* a heavy price to pay. It
may be an ego-booster (esp. now with the general popularity of the 'net,
I'm sure many of us are discovering that we have spotlights shone on us
as individuals from the mainstream media), but you still have to do a lot
of work. I'm constantly tweaking my FAQs, monitoring the newsgroup, etc.
--not to mention the original work that went into writing the FAQs.
Hundreds of hours, minimally.
