I'm glad you brought the "URL" auxiliary header up. If the FAQ
Launchers ever becomes a reality, the easiest way to keep them up to
date will be via headers and auxiliary headers in the FAQs. It would
be great if we could come to a decision about headers and auxiliary
headers and add that info to the FAQ maintainers guidelines, e.g.,
"*.answers submission guidelines." Headers that would be useful for
constructing the FAQ Launchers include:

Standard Headers
================
From
Subject
Summary
Keywords
Content-Type: MULTIPART/DIGEST; BOUNDARY="----------------------------"

Auxiliary Headers
=================
Archive-Name
FAQ-URL (or FAQ-Location or URL or suggestions welcome)
Related-URL (or Related-Web-Page or suggestions welcome)
Maintainer-URL (or suggestions welcome)
FAQ-Launcher-Category
Yahoo-Category
Comments

I discuss some ideas about these in the "maintenance strategy" that's
a link from the FAQ Launcher prototype. Please take a look at the FAQ
Launcher Launcher prototype:

http://www.best.com/~ii/faqs/

and the "maintenance strategy" page and let us know what you think about
some standard auxiliary headers.

Thanks,
Nancy

PS - Please note that I am not attached to any of these proposed headers.
This is just the brainstorming part of this project and I don't even know
if the project is ever going to get off the ground. It certainly will *not*
get off the ground without solid support from you, the FAQ maintainers.
