I maintain my FAQ's in html and use 'lynx' (a text only viewer
for web stuff) to read in the html and 'print' to a text file.
Since my editor is vi, this is the nerdy way to do it. ;-)

Steps:
1. vi Recovery.html
2. lynx Recovery.html
3. p [for print]
4. Recovery.Text [as filename]
5. q [to quit out of lynx]
6. vi Recovery.Text [for any fine tweaking, which is rare]

The html is ftp://netcom.com/pub/dh/dhawk/Recovery.html
and text is ftp://netcom.com/pub/dh/dhawk/Recovery.Text
which is what I post to *.answers

Speaking of nerdy, I maintain the html in SCCS (source code control)
to keep track of version numbers and changes.

later, david
