Well, I knew he was from Germany, and I still (maybe) agree. Others have
probably pointed this out, but if he is going to do an English-language
compilation (or at least, a compilation of English-language documents),
he should have better skills in English. I know a number of people from
Germany who are much more skilled at English than that (or, indeed, than
many people in the U.S.); children often start learning it around the age
of 7 or 8.
I have to admit I'm probably not as adamant about it as some people might
be; if he isn't planning on doing any editing, but merely HTML-izing
(I've been unclear on this point), I suppose I no longer feel he has to
have a better grasp on English than he has exhibited; I could probably
HTML-ize something in German, although I wouldn't be able to read more
than about a quarter of it (less if it were techinical).
