Be asontished. I sent a reply to him, stating that I was still unsure
whether to agree or disagree. I gave him two reasons:

1. The fact that I got three copies of his email implies that is
quality control is less than satisfactory. It gives me some fears of what
might happen to my work.

2. His uncertainty of what kind of renumeration if any (I can't give
you a free CD, maybe I can give yo a discount, I don't know yet.)
makes it seem that he does not have a clear business plan set. (I'm
not talking abut a formal document, but just some kind if idea of
cost, projected sales, etc.)

He did respond. He said that the first letter was kind of a test
balloon, to see if he could get enough positive responses to get the
project started. For the lack of renumeration, he started complaining
about the cost of mailing CDs from Germany to the US. If that is the
case, I doubt it would be worth it for me to take the discount (if
offered) anyway.
