I maintain the Soc.support.youth.gay-lesbian-bi FAQ (and the home page).
One of the other moderators started the FAQ, because it was apparent
within weeks that there was a need for one, and then had to resign for
time reasons. Since I was the one who was the loudest in stating that we
had to keep the FAQ going, I ended up taking it over -- what actually got
me going was when we got a note from some teacher/administrator type at a
school asking for it, because their students weren't supposed to
participate until they read the FAQ, and they couldn't find it!
