post_faq.pl question

I am using post_faq.pl 1.42 and am having a peculiar problem. My
FAQ files have no signature on the bottom of them, yet when they appear,
there are TWO .signature files on them.

Does anyone have a fix for this problem? Thanks!

P.S. Are there any fixes of which I need to be aware to get post_faq.pl
to work with perl 5.0001m?
