The talk.religion.buddhism FAQ has a resource list that includes things
like a CD-ROM containing the Pali scriptures (about $300 from Mahidol
university in Thailand). At first I hesitated about adding it, but
realized I was being silly after seeing several posts along lines of "I've
heard about this CD-ROM ..."

If a product has obvious value to some of our group's readers, I will
mention it -- along with a clear indication that it isn't free. In the
case of books, with a few exceptions I prefer just to give contact info
for the publisher and let people order a catalog. If a capsule review
seems helpful, I add one. Nobody has objected so far.

Regards,
john
