Yeah, I get these too. I respond with a copy of my "How To Get The FAQ"
document, which explains how to get my FAQ via newsgroup, ftp, mailing
list, mail-server, gopher, and Web. I will only mail a copy of the FAQ
to people who tell me that they've tried these methods and failed.

What irritates *me* is the people who send me notes saying "Can you
please mail me the FAQ every time you update it?" I grit my teeth and
reply, as politely as I can manage, that I don't have the facilities to
offer subscriptions, and suggest that they subscribe to the mailing
list.
