Have anyone ever published their FAQs and made them commercially
available in other formats (i.e. hard copy--in the form of a
book/booklet/brochure, etc.)?
There is a raging debate going on on rec.arts.bodyart right now
about the hazards of shopping mall jewelry shops that use
piercing guns (non-sterile environment), and basically, the
general population has little knowledge about safe body piercing
practices. The only thing available seems to be our FAQs. What I
would *really* like is to see this kind of information readily
available at hip and trendy shops (like a Tower Records) where
the young people are sure to see it.
To be honest, I'm not heavily interested in the profit-aspect.
As with most of you, the reason I maintain the FAQs is to help
disseminate this information. But we're hearing so many horror
stories about infected pierces--I'd really like to see this
information available.
If anyone has gone through the process of a hard copy
publication, can you share your experience?
