Approval time for new FAQ?

Umm, this might not be the right way to do this, but I don't know where else
to ask. I created a new FAQ for alt.food.chocolate and tried submitting it to
the various *.news groups per the instructions at the beginning of February.
It's now the 22nd and I haven't heard anything on it yet. Is this normal?
Should I just be patient or is it possible I didn't submit it right? I sent
e-mail right before I submitted it, informing the team that a new FAQ was in
fact on its way.
