It will make your life much easier if you have just one source and from
that create both the plain text and hypertext versions. There are
lots of ways to do this and many of these are discussed in the
"Writing FAQs" section of:

This includes a link to David Alex Lamb's "FAQ Maintenance Aids" page.
What I do is use the plain text digest-format FAQ as my source and
then rely on the Thomas Fine's conversion utility to get the
hypertext version. For an example of a couple of my FAQs in both
hypertext and plain text look at:

http://www.best.com/~ii/internet/
