(Didn't know you were a faq maintainer.)

Congratulations, and certainly go ahead and be flattered; many faq publishing
requests are just because the faq is out there, but to have a medical journal
editor request your medically oriented faq indicates he/she read it and liked
it. Bravo.

I echo the points on checking the copyright issues with the editor, and
properly crediting those who contributed to your faq, and being appreciative
of the editor's consideration of your ownership rights.

This is also a good opportunity to push the net.access to your work -- ask the
editor to put in instructions on obtaining the very latest copy off the net,
stressing that it is a living document and changes from time to time. And
pointing out that the newsgroup is an important resource for asthma sufferers
who are connected to the net. (The editor may or may not have intended to
leave that kind of information in.)
