Norm Aleks's suggestion (filter using the Listserv itself) sounds like
a good one. In addition, depending on what software is being run to
do the gatewaying, you may be able to configure it to do filtering.

There isn't anything in particular you can get the faq-server to do to
prevent the gatewaying. And none of the postings approved for
*.answers (except the *.answers submission guidelines) are posted to
just the *.answers newsgroups; we're not going to make an exception in
this case. That postings have a home Usenet newsgroup is pretty
central to the notion of news.answers and *.answers newsgroups.
