Common rule of indexing is to start with the most specific -- think of
someone trying to find this FAQ in a big *.answers newsgroup.

So IMHO (c) is very bad, and (a) and (b) are just so-so.

How about:
NN: Getting started FAQ (regular posting)

That's my impression. My FAQ is Q&A, but lots of other aren't. Putting
"FAQ" in is good, because many people will search a group they don't know for
that word.
