Hmmm.
1) I was on AOL for a while, and I think the philosophy was "Ask the
AOL staff to do it for you". Don't know how often they would, but
supposedly that was what they were there for.
2) The mailer at MIT's archive is capable of mailng the file off in
chunks. So he could ask for it to be mailed, and specify AOL's
current maximum size. I seem to remember something like 8k per
message, up to 75 messages.
