Brush up those FAQ's ...

Over the next few weeks, Prodigy's two million or so members will begin
to access the Usenet. As part of our effort to minimize the minimum
impact this infusion of new blood will have on the rest of Usenet, our
newsreader sports a "Get FAQ" button which will attempt to fetch an FAQ
file for the current newsgroup. It works by looking in news.answers
for any articles cross-posted to the current newsgroup, then displaying
a menu of those articles.

My thanks to those on this list and other newsgroups who contributed
suggestions as to various ways of fetching FAQ files. Naturally, none
of this would be possible without the volunteer efforts of the FAQ
maintainers and the *.answers moderators.

You as FAQ maintainers can assist in making FAQ's easily available to Prodigy
members by making sure you've crossposted your FAQ's to all the relevant
newsgroups. Please feel free to write to me if you have any questions or
comments about how we plan to deliver FAQ's.
