Re: how to deal with advertising submission for FAQ

This doesn't sound to me like a matter of advertising, exactly. I think
it's more clearly stated that someone has requested a change in the FAQ,
but their position indicates that they clearly have a conflict of interest.
I suppose I'd suggest that you inform him that he's referring to an old
copy of the FAQ and that the change has already been made, and also that
you're likely to take any advice from him on the subject with a grain of
salt since he's not in a position to be dispensing objective information.
