If the entire news.answers moderation team is too busy to respond to
requests, could you please relax the rules for waiting for approval of
changes?

I'm glad that the news.answers moderators are careful about watching changes,
and I appreciate the requirements that you monitor to assure the smooth
operation of news.answers and the various archives. But I've been waiting
2-1/2 weeks for an acknowledgement of my request to split my faq, change the
subject line, and add a new PIP in the same archive directory. Apparently
others are encountering similar delays, as evidenced by letters in
faq-maintainers. If the moderation team doesn't have time to handle all the
requests, perhaps it would be best to give existing faq maintainers more
leeway to make minor changes without waiting for approval.

I'd volunteer, but my connectivity and software are not up to the task at
present. Besides, I'm busy maintaining this faq ...
