Looking for a good FAQ location text

I have the beginnings of one, but would appreciate a) pointers to ones
that other folk are doing , b) particularly if they don't mind if I borrow
some of their ideas or text . One of the things that worrys me is that if
I am pointing for instance folk off to rtfm.mit.edu, it will melt down
soon (both it and ftp.uu.net , as well as a few others , tend to be very
busy). On the other hand, I am not sure what alternatives to suggest
to folk.

1. Check comp.lang.tcl on your system. I just posted it within the last couple
weeks.

2. Check comp.answers and/or news.answers. The FAQ is cross-posted to those
newsgroups.

4. I am sure there are some gopher locations. Unfortunately, I don't have any
on hand right now. Also, there used to be a WAIS database - but I can't
seem to get a reply from the maintainer to see why it's always empty. Perhaps
someone else out there would like to volunteer?

I think that at least cs.huji.il, ftp.denet.dk, ftp.luth.se also may have
some version of the FAQ mirrored as well as coma.cs.tu-berlin.de,
ftp.funet.fi, ftp.ibp.fr, ftp.uu.net, iskut.ucs.ubc.ca, nic.funet.fi,
sunsite.unc.edu, and syd.dit.csiro.au.

Then there is:
