I agree with the MIME headers. But I would like to point out that
"all the world is 8859-1" is more true than "all the world is ASCII" ;-)
At least linquistically.
More importantly, it helps provide incentive to get news transports 8
bit clean, so other 8859-x variants and even UNICODE will be useable.
